Our eXtreme Wipes use a 70% ethyl alcohol solution to eliminate even the toughest dirt and grime. Great for restoring old and crusty controllers that have been collecting gunk.
The ethyl alcohol solution helps break down unwanted crime from cracks, crevices, and textured surfaces. Sticker residue can usually be removed fairly easily by soaking them with the wipes.
CAUTION: Be very careful if using eXtreme! Wipes on controllers with custom artwork. The ethyl alcohol solution can remove certain types of sensitive artwork, like water transfer or hydro-dipped designs .
They are generally safe to use on controllers that are painted and clear coated. To be safe, clean your controller in an inconspicuous area as a test before fully committing.
For controllers with custom artwork, we recommend using our Original Controller Wipes.
